    Bark doesn't match its bite

    Managing Director (Former Employee)
    Los Angeles, CA

ProsWorked there for two years. On the plus side, it truly has global reach that can give you exposure to all types of markets. Given the small, entrepreneurial leadership team, you can have a voice in key decisions.

ConsCompany's business model is a huge disadvantage in business development. As such, it has a difficult time increasing revenue streams and investing in growth. As a result, growth opportunities--salaries, promotions, personal growth, etc.--are limited.

Advice to Senior ManagementSell the company or find a business model that can generating meaningful revenue.growth.

    People Friendly Environment

    Runner (Current Employee)
    Tallahassee, FL

ProsEveryone here is really great, I'm just a runner in accounting so I do not deal with the clients to much. All the realtors seems to have great relationships with the clients though.

ConsNo complaints really. I'm just a college student working a part time job. Great position to get some minimum, entry experience in the field.

    Needs Major Overhaul

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
    Princeton, NJ

Prosthe location of the headquarters in Princeton NJ was ideal for travel from many parts of the country, and commuting from the northern part of NJ

ConsSenior management was not at all competent, and employees felt overworked, defeated, unrecognized, and unrewarded, while upper management collected new job titles. A lot of backstabbing going on as well: no one trusted anyone. I've worked 7 jobs in my career, this was by far the worst company to work for.

Advice to Senior ManagementHire senior management with college degrees and better skill sets. Take care of the employees, and show a genuine interest in them. Improve benefits package.

Growth and expansion of company, opportunities to grow alongside promised, but promises and execution fell short

    Associate (Former Employee)
    New York, NY

ProsVast network, good yearly global conference to network with other offices

ConsMost offices are franchised out and it is a tossup with regard to their level of expertise, senior NYC management was inneffective and incompetant

Advice to Senior ManagementGive up on penetrating the NYC market and focus in tertiary cities where NAI operates best

    Largest non-communitive network!

    Associate (Former Employee)
    Oakbrook Terrace, IL

ProsGreat commission splits and good in secondary and below market places.

ConsLack of collaboration in the overall network. Each office worked solo and only good in secondary and below markets.

Advice to Senior ManagementMore collaboration between offices. Create a common organizational goal.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsNAI Global has a great reach to all of its affiliates throughout the world. Beneficial for those just getting started, and long time pros.

ConsMore training would be beneficial. More one-on-one visits with certain offices to assess pros and cons of current situations.
