    Great place to work

Systems Engineer Principal (Former Employee) The Hague (Netherlands)

ProsGood people, interesting work. You get to work with many people from all over NATO. Many contacts with industry making it very easy to set up your next job elsewhere.

ConsLots of politics, difficult travel department. Hiring is only by 3 year contract. You are locked into their pension plan if you work more than 2 contracts. this may be beneficial for some, but the system is horribly mismanaged by the bank.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Brussels (Belgium)

ProsNice coworkers & facilities, diverse & international environment.

ConsBureucratic, as expected. Can get a bit slow & unexciting at times.

    International experience at NATO

Principal Sciientist (Former Employee) The Hague (Netherlands)

ProsVery interesting subjects covered, a feeling that you are doing something for the wider community. A great package (all of it tax free)

ConsA 3 year contract structure that always put you on edge, combined with with management that is solely concerned with their survival. The management seems strangely (!) immune to the 3 year cotnract strictures and never are fired no matter how incompetent.

Advice to Senior ManagementTry managing your staff not just your careers.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

A nice place to work with opportunities to develop

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsWork on current Information Systems and Communication matters. Address challenging and demanding support requests. Have a feeling of impact and importance of your production.

ConsMany reorganizations and tryouts on management styles.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep a steady course, and keep staff informed, reality does it in any case.

    Satisfied employee from The Hague

Principal Scientist (Current Employee) The Hague (Netherlands)

ProsA forward-thinking technology company in the public sector with an excellent tax-free remuneration package, worldwide health care and generous vacations, combined with a wide variety of interesting defence technology projects that are supporting the real needs of coalition forces in current operations and for the future. Excellent training opportunities.

ConsLimited promotion prospects - need to apply for a new post. Three year contracts, most of which are typically renewed 2 or 3 times before staff must leave. This is to encourage staff rotation, bringing in new skills from the nations - although around 10% of staff are retained indefinitely.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep communicating! Keep the positive changes coming!

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
