Many are contract workers here with no plans on being hired FT. Because of this, many come and go after one year.

There are a lot of different brands you can transition to and each is interesting in its own way. You can stay there a long time but be in different brands for the experience
Cons
poor management in some divisions, people are tight-lipped b/c they are afraid of losing their SME status if they share too much
red-tape
not very collaborative though they try to be -- but it's more lip service
Advice to Senior Management
Management should listen to what employees say in the lowest brand levels. There are a lot of surveys sent out and completed but it is hard to tell if any action is taken. Also, there are some folks there that clearly need disciplinary action and everyone, including management knows it but it is rare that any action is taken.
Pros
The name value, diverse functions and departments, opportunity for growth
Cons
Too big to specialize, lack of diversity in terms of ethnicity
Advice to Senior Management
Increase diversity
