    Not very inviting

    Specialist (Former Employee)
    New York, NY

ProsWe are paid 3 dollars a day for lunch.

ConsGeneral management is inept . They hire and fire every 2 weeks as if it's the regular convention. Employees here are treated unfairly. After a certain number of employees being let go it becomes the banks fault. Managers ,, human resources and general management all unfairly rule over the peasants that are us workers . There is only so much of this that can happen until someone in Kuwait decides to hopefully make a change for the better. Eventually this system of hiring and firing will collapse.

Advice to Senior ManagementTry not having 60 percent turn over. Work on bettering relationships with employees for eventually the onus will be on management. Kuwait can make a change for the better to shape ny branch.

    Unprofessional managers

    OFFICE ANALYST (Current Employee)
    New York, NY

ProsHealth insurance and coffee and tea. Toaster

ConsAbsolutely No morale at work. Head Office in Kuwait doesn't know that workers here are sad and depressed. The office needs to have a social element to it rather than constantly looking behind your back for HR or general management . General management pretends to be nice but is very strict and mean and does bidding through HR and a few holdover old timer managers who have no skillset outside of working at nbk . You are also unable to walk in through the front door and access is denied. I am always worried about what mood Human Resources is in.

Advice to Senior ManagementManagement needs to focus on more important things not small things.

Horrifying and wish i would have never taken this job.

NOT AT LIBERTY to SAY (Current Employee)
    New York, NY

Proswater, tea, coffee, bathroom. you are allowed to go to lunch for 45 minutes...

Consbelittled by management... huge turnover since 2011. i would say 55-60%. every other week someone leaves and someone is hired. it is run like a tight shop here. cameras installed in the bank. not allowed to really converse with anyone or else you will be scolded. not allowed to hang outside the building. not allowed to be 1 minute late or leave one minute early even if you come into work 20 minutes to a half hour early. almost no overtime at all. people leave and you ar estuck doing their job and your managers. no raise or bonus and they reduce your hours to add insult to injury.

Advice to Senior Managementthere needs to be better leadership and the bank needs to grow and get rid of managers that are outdated and mean. if the bank rid itself of these ineffctive managers it would promote growth.
