    Negative Outlook

I worked at NCB full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Salary Package is fairly good compared with other Saudi banks

    Cons

You will never get promoted even if you worked very hard, UNLESS if you have connections in the bank. It ended up that those occupying higher positions has no brain. It demoralized the rank and files in the front line who works very hard and knows the job. There is a procedure in promotion but its but nobody follows. When you applied for a job they published it, but it is already COOKED for somebody to EAT who has NO brain, not you who is qualified for the job. Don't waste your time in this bank

    Pros

The benefits are there: Health, insurance, allowances. Also there is a staff association that is dedicated to the needs of the staff. Exposure to various categories of client help equip you to deal with people of any economic background and an excellent way to network.

    Cons

Although they have a training school, the rotation of staff who attend the training school is extremely slow. Extremely competitive environment, so if you are docile individual, this is not the place for you.

    Advice to Management

Send staff to annual training for the benefit of the company. Encourage more internship so that people leaving school can make an educated choice of entering into the banking sector.
