    I worked at NCO Financial

    Pros

Flexibility in making your work schedule. Decent wage for collections position+ good bonuses if you can get them, definitely attainable but requires hard work.

    Cons

QA monitoring that would,(could) affect your bonus. Favoritism from management when assigning accounts. Schedule requirements required two late nights a week and weekends.

    Advice to Management

Management was going through some transitional changes at the time, some good, some bad. I hope that the kinks were worked out in the Gov. division.

    Pros

Downtown Wyandotte and close to resturants.

    Cons

If your not a friend of the boss or family which is 90 percent of the employees then get tried poorly.

    Advice to Management

Not to hire friends and their friends.

I worked at NCO Financial (More than a year)

    Pros

Best pay i've seen from any collection agency.

    Cons

The pay is the only good thing about this job. Long tedious hours. Very hard to advance. Mandatory overtime and Saturdays depending on how good(or rather how bad) your team does. VERY strict on lateness. Have to be on the dialer ready to go at the start of 8am.

    Advice to Management

The manager i had should be a little more open to help those in need.

    Pros

There are no pros for this company.

    Cons

NCO is a terrible company to work for. I worked for one of their call centers and you want to talk about being the bottom man on the totem pole, well there you'll find it. The pay was terrible and not at all comparable to other companies in the area, management was awful and don't even think human resources will care if you're feeling harassed at work, because they will male you out to be the bad guy and not even swat the wrist of the out of line supervisor.

    Advice to Management

There's no use in this. "Management" at NCO has no interest in their employees ideas or concerns.

    Pros

plenty of hours with the benefit of overtime

    Cons

can be fired by word of mouth on something that is completely untrue, barring my future employment for life.

    Advice to Management

Go in depth in accusing someone, listen to their entire side of the story, involved BOTH parties involved, provide mediation, before you FIRE and bar an employee from ever working for an of your brands again, i LOVED my job and was very good at it.
