    Pros

Good basic benefits at a good cost (especially if non smoker)
    Competitive salary
    Pockets of dedicated employees

    Cons

Lots of negative definitions for NCR, current favorite "Nutti Can't Relate!" Wants to be a software company but runs it like a hardware company and keeps bringing in people who don't know packaged software for their industry. Publicly berates management (VP/SVPs) and expects them to say thank you can I have another. Zero variance forecast expectation... As in if you are off less than 1% most people would be congratulated, he asks why you missed the 1%.

No regard to personal time, working in a global role, often working at 2 am then up again for a 6 am call, because nobody cares to check what time zone you are in

Limited support for remote employees, no cell phone reimbursement

New leadership trying to put their "playbook" in and don't care to understand that the mode won't work because the
    current org is so immature

Leadership wants to only hear what they want, doesn't want to hear the truth, and then freaks out when the truth can't be ignored

Cost cutting so much that we are cutting our nose off to spite our face, can't grow revenue without people and short term costs savings decisions to meet the street numbers that will cause long term issues and ultimately be negative to business success and growth

    Advice to Management

    Nutti - retire
Get people who understand the industry, really, in leadership
Listen don't assume, if someone tells you x can't happen, x can't happen, asking 10 different ways will not get a different answer or cause x to magically happen.

    Pros

Amazing thing about this company is there is no ceiling if you are willing to work hard. Many jobs in different industries and lateral or vertical movement is not an issue.

    Cons

Large company so you can sometimes feel buried in hierarchy but despite being so massive, they keep a great team feel.

  3. The work environment and coworkers were awesome, but the pay was not to industry standards. Good benefits.

    Pros

Clean, safe work environment. Competative benefits package,

    Cons

Pay was below industry standards. There is always a chance of being layed off, let go or outsourced.

    Advice to Management

Be more approachable and personal with the agents in your department

    Pros

Get to work with the latest technologies and stay on the most current frameworks. It used to be a laid back easy going place to work but that all changed when the group got bough out twice.

    Cons

Employees are overworked, underpaid and not recognized for their hard work in any way. If you disagree with management in anyway you are instantly put on the "sh!t list". You can learn some cool stuff but often its bosses way or the highway. Working conditions are set up like a sweat shop. Loads of office politics which derail any forward motion on anything.

    Advice to Management

Take care of your hard working employees before they all leave. Pay at least market rate. Do at least something to boost moral. Stop being so cheap.

    Pros

Great place to learn your basics, get some experience in your field, etc. Generally, your co-workers are great company.

    Cons

Company devalues their employees when it seems to be convenient (review time), however willing to sing their praises the rest of the year. Although not discussed in amounts, raises are considered to be the joke of the office. Such as; Jim: "oh, I won 10 bucks on this scratch-off!"; Sarah: "Oh! that's your second NCR raise this year, nice!"

    Advice to Management

If you value your employees, show it. If you can't "show it" then your boss isn't valuing you or your employees either. As such fight for yourself and/or your employees. We put at least 2,080 hours a year into the walls of this building. Reward the loyalty and hard work we give to the company.

    Pros

Pay is good but do not expect bonuses to be paid out unless you are Nuti.

    Cons

They are outsourcing everything. Warehousing in PTC will be outsourced to FedEx by Sept. Quality will be outsourced. Minimal people in PTC. Assume balance of employees will be laid off and positions filled in Serbia. They are definitely shifting their focus to being software driven, which is fine. However still dragging everyone along with them instead of just telling them the long term goals and what their future holds.

    Advice to Management

They don't listen so none to give. All about the $$. No clue how Forbes rated them good in anything.

    Pros

Travel, Training, and friendly co-workers. Exceptional tools available for employees to perform at their peak.

    Cons

On call demand was excessive, more often than not stressfully overloading.

    Advice to Management

Tone down the on call demand of the employees, put more techs in the fields where they are needed.
