Former Employee – worked at NCS Pte as a contractor for less than a year
Pros – They train you on the job and you get to learn a lot of soft skills and probably, even the technical stuffs.
Cons – The job basically entails a lot of administrative and technical stuffs, and sometimes, it is really not within the scope of the job.
One thing to note is that, if you have no prior experience in customer service, it's going to be tough for you. The materials that they have for their new employees are not complete. Considering how this job requires you to be careful and meticulous, the materials are not sufficient.
Advice to Senior Management – Work life balance is important, if employees are not happy then people are not going to be as efficient as they can be. Despite collecting feedback from employee, nothing much seems to have changed after years.

Current Employee – been working at NCS Pte full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – Has many projects available from hardware to different software and products. Able to learn a lot through the implementations and projects.
Cons – Mostly government related projects. Learning curve steep as will be learning on the job.
Advice to Senior Management – To focus on the morale and welfare of especially the delivery teams rather then being too focus on top line and getting more and more contracts. Top line may be important, but on the long run, sustenance is important too and that said, to focus on the delivery and the quality.

Current Employee – been working at NCS Pte full-time for more than a year
Pros – Good pay, good variable bonus.
Cons – The people; there hire too many incompetent people, worse yet, a lot of them are in management.
Advice to Senior Management – Revamp your hiring process, stop hiring incompetent people just because they have years of experience.
Focus more in building more conducive and healthy work culture, stop the pointing finger culture.
Some people have been in the management team for far too long and they are hindering progress with their antiquated management practices.

Current Employee – been working at NCS Pte full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – friendly office environment since there is no future for career progression
good for retirement
may be able to get some experience if you are lucky
the ceo looks nice
Cons – finding food can be difficult, limited places to get food
low pay
benefit is pathetic
hard to get converted into perm
pretty much zero career growth for most fresh grad
do not count too much on the bonus...
Advice to Senior Management – please improve the standard of living of the current employees instead of getting new people all the time - to replace the ones who left. I am sure the money spent on those hiring agencies and interview exercises can be used to improve the morale (ps: financial situation) of the current staff
also, please increase the pay of those student intern. $500/mo will just teach those student to never ever get back to NCS / IT industry in general.
