I worked at NCS as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

The salary structure of NCS has been restructured. AWS was removed and the amount is being splited up to the individual month's salary.

Working in the programming and development area will have a lot of foreigners (especially indian nationals. china chinese and malaysians).

Other than that, under the Business Application Services department, the majority are still Singaporeans and they are very friendly.

    Cons

Too stagnant, good for people that is looking for work-life balance.

    Pros

Stable job. People who are idling around but still got pay and receives stable bonus.

    Cons

Slow career growth and poor management

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay attention to project management and work delegation. Project managers are not efficient at managing project requirements and timeline. Implementation phase always gets cut short in the end, resulting in developers working overtime and there are lots of bugs in the end product.

I worked at NCS full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Only if you are lucky to be in a team with like-minded and responsible team person, you will find it bearable to work at . Do not expect good employee perks, whether you are a good employee or a bad employee. Everyone get almost the same perks, barring the senior management

    Cons

If you are unlucky to be a team where everyone from the manager to the team members put self above the interest of their job responsibility, best of luck to you and your career.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Just shut down the company.

    Cons

no work-life balance in some projects, depends on the team that you join.
some projects has serious resources issues

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Re-focus on employees need, it does not have to be increasing employees salary. NCS needs to find a way retain good performer instead of people a bunch of people that excel in dodging responsibility.
