the middle management is occupied with old employees of NDS, most of them are hopeless, good in politics.
blame game is common and there is no peace of mind.
not the right place for Java Professionals. outdated java technology plus corrupted management will make the life mess.
Advice to Senior Management
do something for the middle management politics
Pros
good salary
free food, pantry
good work culture
Cons
politics
recognition of work doesn't depends on how good you are in work but how you will present it to your senior..even if you didn't work doesn't matter you just shout that you have worked very good because of other team or person it's getting dealy
Advice to Senior Management
judge who is right person for recognition, not who is having godfathers or good selling skills
Pros
Good place to work.
Benefits and salary are good.
Work-life balance can be achieved.
Company sitting pretty now, but needs to guard against going in the wrong direction.
.
Cons
Company heading towards inverted pyramid of too many managers.
Developers crucified for making mistakes by program managers who feel that it is unheard of introducing defects in stack.
There is not much of management anyways in this company, not a typical service company with headcount mindset. Some managers are awful, generate a lot of email traffic and preach the same but don't practice :)
Advice to Senior Management
Time has come to find managers with technical insight as this is an engineering company. Architects or Senior Integrators can take care of most management with project co-ordinators help!!

4. there is no fair policy in promotions. normally the people in the good ranks with senior peoples will get promotions .
5. the people good only in talking are treated good. people who never coded anything are holding the position as architect .
6. after few years will become technically outdated , need to pass the rest of the life in NDS only. as no other company will respect this skill set.
7. called as product company but working in service mode
