    Lots of changes monthly

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsHigh pay scale for the experience you bring and the willingness to work hard.

ConsCustomer Service Manager's stab you in the back. "Advocates" for the customer at the expense of company cohesiveness (all for customer kudos and a magnum of liquor at Christmas)

Advice to Senior ManagementMetrics is absolutely imperative HOWEVER make all effort for training your staff! Return on Investment!

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

    So far it's pretty good

    Support Engineer (Current Employee)

ProsThe pay scale is good to great depending on where you are and what you do. The overall benefits (401K, Health Insurance, etc) are what I would consider above average for what I have experienced in the industry. Flexibility in your schedule. A lot of work, but also rewards for the hard work put in. Management understands that people have lives outside the building and seems to work to accommodate that.

ConsEvery group has it's own set of processes, and they don't always line up leading to contradicting messages.
Processes that are set in stone until the end of quarter and then everything seems like it gets thrown out the window.
A seemingly large cultural divide between the Israel employees and the rest of the company that leads to a lot of miscommunication.
Purchases of smaller companies have not been integrated very well, or in some cases at all.

Advice to Senior ManagementInvest in a company wide CRM system that works, and align goals and processes across organizations and teams.

Penny wise - Pound foolish, micromanaging, incompetent middle management, dead end

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsComprehensive benefits package consisting of medical, dental, vision, company match 401k, and of course, every couple of months they throw you a bone with a useless "NICE" branded chotchke.

ConsIndisputably should be accredited as the poster company for the movie "Office Space." Disengaged upper management, grossly mismanaged outfit with high turnover and little to no regard for employee capital and well-being. Training... what's that? The atypical select few employees that have procured job security may expect a painfully dismal outlook with absolutely no room for advancement in the foreseeable future.

Advice to Senior ManagementI would advise to sell any vested interest in this organization and get out before it's too late.

Fast growing company...Leading the way in all areas of the portfolio

    Presales (Current Employee)

ProsPlenty of autonomy. A career here is what YOU make it. Great people all around. As tough as things get sometimes, everybody at NICE wants to do the right thing for customers. This is an ethical company in all respects.

ConsProcesses are still fragmented like you might expect of a smaller company. Internal systems are antiquated and doing a good job is not always easy. You will find yourself fighting the system quite often. That said, NICE manages to do well and everybody tries to do the right thing for customers.

Advice to Senior ManagementTime to grow up. We are not the same company from 5 yrs. ago. New, more efficient systems for managing customers and projects and the daily mundane activities of getting the job done will go a long way toward creating a more efficient operation and an easier place to be successful.

Mis-managed support structure. Starts at the the top and rolls downhill

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
    Denver, CO

ProsGreat co-workers. Everyone helps each other, is able to laugh, support one another. Salary compensation is ok

ConsMost (not all) management is not technical, which is not a good fit at a software based company. The VP over the support center tries to be everyone's friend then comes down on them like a nazi when his mistakes are reflected upwards to upper management. Changes made in the last year are having the senior support teams look elsewhere before the celing crashes.

Advice to Senior ManagementNumbers are not all that reflects on how well an engineer is doing in support. Sales overrides all at this company for sure, but the negative from the customer is reflected solely back on the support team. Not a good environment

ProsGreat Vision, good environment and exciting opportunties

ConsCompany grew too fast without making proper adjustments. Acquisitions of smaller companies were not done well.

Advice to Senior ManagementAgree on strategy and how decisions are made and communicate it to your lieutenants and the rest of the company.

    Craziness!

    Regional Sales Manager (Former Employee)
    New Brunswick, NJ

ProsInteresting technology, some good people, great pay and benefits

ConsNo training. No support. Constantly upping the ante, but not providing any assistance on achieving it. Reworking company mission every 6 months, changing management constantly, no consistency. HR says, "if you don't like what you are doing, don't worry, it'll change in a few months anyway". Not a great place for women to work.

Advice to Senior ManagementDevelop training. Get some consistency and remember that your employees are actually people. Do not bully people.

Value is placed more on the customer than the employees

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsNICE is very knowledgeable in their areas of expertise giving great value to the customer. NICE cares about their customer satisfaction a great deal and will bend over backwards to accommodate the customer.

ConsEmployees can feel lost as sheep. When there are guidelines or processes, if the they can change on a daily basis. It seems almost every customization that is requested gets acceptance. Therefore it can be a nightmare to effectively build or support.

Advice to Senior ManagementMore than just once a year needs to be set aside for employee input.
