I worked at NICE Systems
Pros – Salaries are good, benefits are good.
Cons – Salaried - means working 60 or more hours a week - no job satisfaction - US management employees are continually replaced by Israeli ex-pats. No employee/employer feedback on any corporate changes basically the attitude that you should be happy to have a job. It used to be a good place to work - but the senior management has no confidence in the US work force. You will work in an atmosphere (even if you are a manager) of no trust and having to prove yourself over and over. There is no respect for employees.
Advice to Senior Management – there has to be work/life balance
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

I worked at NICE Systems
Pros – Great technology. Hard working middle management and subordinates. Many opportunities to learn leading-edge technology.
Cons – Bias exists between senior management and non-Israli employees. Their most recent additions to senior management are ineffective leaders from other industries with very little experience in this industry. They do not seem to posses the right skills to lead large teams of professionals. NICE no longer puts clients or employees first and this, coupled with the harsh attitudes of senior management towards non-Israeli employees is giving NICE a notorious reputation as a terrible place to work.
Advice to Senior Management – Appreciate and respect your American-based management team as they can teach you a lot about how to conduct business in North America. You cannot treat employees like they are in the Israeli army.

I have been working at NICE Systems full-time for more than a year
Pros – Reasonable everyday management on low level
Good information policy: if you want to know something about Company or people, you can find info with no problem
HR people are surprisingly good
Cons – No perspectives - the only way to increase your salary or responsibility level is to leave the company
A bit bureaucratic
Chaotic workflows, medium and high management tend to micromanage
Advice to Senior Management – Stop treating people as mere resources or treat them like teenagers. "Butts in seats" is not equal to "Job done:.

I worked at NICE Systems full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – People are very friendly and fun to work with.
It is a nice place to start working as a beginner.
Cons – Too much bureaucracy, a lot of unnecessary procedures.
The decisions are very political and not always very professorial.
The company is very dynamic, you can find yourself with different team every few months, doing something different and having a new boss.

I worked at NICE Systems
Pros – Good school for starters, not conservative, working with newest technologies. OK work/life balance. People are (mostly) friendly
Cons – In most of the cases disicions are political and not professional. No salary updates. Compensation is on/ below the market average. The company will not struggle to keep its best workers! The company's motto of "people are our most valued resources" now far away from true...
Advice to Senior Management – Start investing more in people who do the real job.
