I worked at NIKE part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very easy summer sales associate retail job. Management was super pleasant and always respectful which made for a nice team environment. 30% discount. Two 15 minute breaks, one hour lunch.

    Cons

Hours seemed to crawl. Couldn't get more than 30 hours a week. High turnover. Uniform is considered taxable income.

    Advice to Management

Seasonal employment shouldn't mean low hiring standards. It was evident management relied on several strong employees to really make things go and it is hard for team morale seeing seasonal coworkers removed in handcuffs for stealing. Clearly, this action is justified, but I can't help but think a better hiring process might prevent the liability in the first place.

I worked at NIKE (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Free clothes and shoes, and there was always an event happening.

    Cons

Not much of a work life balance, raises were crap, shady competivness.

    Advice to Management

It's best to promote from within. There are a lot who are qualified, quit passing over talent.
