    Pros

Great company for those who are passionate about sports, fitness, and keeping an active lifestyle. Fun and busy environment that keeps you pushing throughout the time.

    Cons

Hourly paid employees have terrible annual raises. Working schedules and hours were not desireable and lead to untimely sleep scheudles

I have been working at NIKE part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Co-workers and customers are the best thing about this job. You get to meet so many different people from the customers and also the workers. Nike has great perks from uniforms to discounts to giveaways to getting paid to volunteer to the knowledge you gain of the sportswear faction just from being employees here. And all this come on part time availability. Full timers get more perks and also get the opportunity to advance quicker.

    Cons

I say a few cons would be for one the hours. They hire you on and throw lots of hours at you and then after a month or so they cut you down to a day a week. I guess it's a plus for those that only want the discount but I want to move up within the company. Also management within the store can be one-sided at times. A lot of favoritism goes on and the managers got the picks of who they like and those they don't really care too much for.

    Advice to Management

I would say really evaluate your team and look to hire within more. Of course if you got someone that been with the company over 5 years and you bring in a newbie and they make lead before you consider those who have been there longer, something is wrong. At least evaluate the crew that you have, see where they want to go within the company and give them a plan on what they need to do to achieve that or those goals. Reach one teach one.

I worked at NIKE full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Lots of great Co-workers. Rest of Nike is great!

    Cons

The management is back stabbing and sets people up to fail so they can write you up and get fired. Always changing shifts to meet the "business needs" which means you can be there for 10+ years and still be sent to Graveyard on a whim. If they don't like you, you have no chance of a future in Nike Security. Good luck moving on to other portions of the Security department unless you worked for one of the 3 letter government companies, no matter what your background is. Do you self a favor and stay away from this department.

Nike is a great forward looking company with an eye on the stock price. They treat employees fairly and consistently with future growth available. I enjoyed 11 years with them.
