I have been working at NRP Group full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Great executive leadership at the top. The executive leadership is involved in the role of every employee and are very approachable. They have a training program now for new employees. This will give new employees confidence as they start their roles.

    Cons

The growth potential with the company is limited unless you live in Cleveland or immediate surrounding areas. Remote jobs have become very popular with many other companies allowing great talent to work from anywhere. The NRP Group has not caught on to the benefits of this option.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider more promotions within the company from the PM position. Many promotions occur within executive management and the corporate office. Amazing talent can be found at the property level also. Consider remote options for those positions requiring at least 50% travel. Compliance needs to travel and train or send employees to local apartment association for training. In two years with the company I haven't received a day of compliance training, and I started with no experience in tax credit.

I have been working at NRP Group full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Overall good company, up to date training, and calm working environment. Keep in mind that a community manager has a lot to do with the enjoyment of the job.

    Cons

Pay is on the low end and commission are $50 per unit.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay the leasing staff a better wage or commission at 50 to 100%. The industry is sinking in poor service and there is a reason.
