    Pros

NTI gives you a chance to work at home. I work on a specific account every week so the work is fairly easy. You get to communicate through web technologies, e-mail and phone. The account I'm on is very supportive.

    Cons

It gets isolating not seeing people every day. There is a limit on how much you can advance. The work gets boring sometimes.

    Advice to Management

Offer a little more communication between NTI and its employees. I want to hear how things are going in the company. I want a newsletter.

    Pros

Telecommute, pay wasn't bad. Didn't have to get up which is hard when you have a disability. Was for individuals with disabilities and flexible to work with you when sick.

    Cons

Seasonal, tech support wasn't too helpful at times, I figured most out on my own When you had to vto or leave early, posting in chat was horrible and ignored unless you did it exactly the way they requested that day

    Pros

The company is helpful finding jobs specifically for the disabled that are wanting to work. You are not limited to living in a specific geographic location, because jobs are done over the phone or internet. Depending on the client, you may not need to purchase any equipment. Personally I find comfort in my own home, not having to drive or commute to a work location.

    Cons

Very little contact from NTI, especially once you have a position with a client.

    Advice to Management

Offer resources for during working like suggestions or ideas of how to request further assistance or specialized equipment to continue working is disability changes or worsens.

    Pros

Get to work from home, choose own hours, part time customer service for the IRS, it is rewarding to help people, good support from team leaders

    Cons

Some callers are mean or rude, no pay raise in 7 years, strict rules and must adhere to policies 100%, layoff every May

    Advice to Management

Get more accounts with federal government and higher paying jobs... Give raises and incentives to stay working there.

    Pros

It is working from home and that saved money. Working with staff customers is rewarding, and competitive. They have good training, a medical savings plan and very flexible hours (chance for overtime).

    Cons

In one job, there were overzealous team leads who have to throttle the number of phone reps according to needs of companies who hire them. It is something you have to get used to when working for this type of company. This means that you don't get paid the same each week. You have to sit for long periods waiting for an instant message for more hours. So, there is downtime involved sometimes. You have to know your status compared to other reps and it is a complex online system.

    Pros

Great for entry level or returning to work after a long absence. Reliable Work from Home positions. Some job support provided. Work with the disabled.

    Cons

Their government contracts for IT support pay towards the bottom of the pay scale. Most positions are part time. Management and immediate supervisors can be horrible!

    Advice to Management

Hire more management staff that have technical backgrounds! It's hard to attract or keep skilled IT support when the supervisors can barely check their email -let alone tell you how they did it! Industry people and business are going to find it hard to take you seriously.

    Pros

Able to work from home means no commute or commuting expenses. Also, can work in pajamas and a bathrobe if you want.

    Cons

Little support from employer. Most contact was through client that the customer service was being preformed for. Pay was only mediocre at best.
