Pros
Great health care insurance.
Cutting edge technology.
Cons
Overworked; no work-life balance.
No more stock options for everyone below directors level.
Less and less perks. NV becomes just an average place to work at.
Pros
They offer discounts in NVIDIA products, and a disconunt on your phone bill. IF you work in Santa Clara there are a few more advantages but they are not great
Cons
Too bureaucratic. Management on ym area is like a headless chicken
Advice to Senior Management
They need to stop being so passive and care mroe about people, at the end we work for you with all dedication.
Pros

Advice to Senior Management

Cons
Lack of community and communication. Makes things kind of boring and monotonic.
Advice to Senior Management
Improve community. Have programmers sit and work together. Use video chat. Hold more (good) events.
Pros

lots of collaboration
laid back culture
good company culture
pets at work
free food at some work locations.
Cons
long work
a lot of people complaining that they don't make enough money.
sometimes work can be completed but takes a long time to get reviewed.
Advice to Senior Management
I think they did a good job while I was there. Although I was eventually laid off, so maybe not.
Pros
Work in a challenging environment where good enough is never enough, very exciting and challenging. You are always in comptition and to survive, this pushes you to constantly be better. Life is always exciting, when things are good you are rewarded very well financially. Many people get the big cars and nice houses.
Cons
Never is it good enough, you are always pushed and you have to always be going at 110%. This is difiicult to always be going at. The benefits package is mediocre for anything other than stock. The HR team are pretty much idiots and can be replaced pretty quickly with rocks.
Advice to Senior Management
Think about the basic benefits like medical and Time off to really treat people in a world class manner
Pros
NVIDIA offers the ability to obtain a lot of broad experience in the ASIC industry. Your assignments can vary wildly from project to project, but this can cause problems when projects (and their schedules) aren't properly managed. For example, designs can be compromised by inconsistent ownership and poor understanding of the design.
Cons
Long-term prospects for NVIDIA are somewhat uncertain in the context of AMD' and Intel's platform ownership. Inconsistent management focus leads to disappointing project performance.
Advice to Senior Management
NVIDIA's rise to greatness came from a relentless approach to advancing graphics / user capabilities. That approach and industry leadership is considerably more vague than it was previously.
Pros
Extremely fast paced, latest technology, smart people. If you like working with cutting edge products, this is the best place to work.
Cons
Hard management style, must be able to turn off your ego and react to changes in plans. Some people don't do well with the aggressive styles whichn require new hires to quickly find your way in the organization.
Advice to Senior Management
Work on internal advancement opportunities and better recognize good/bad managers. One of the things that NVIDIA I believe has issues with is getting rid of managers that are roadblocks to innovation.
