I have been working at NYC HRA as an intern for more than a year

    Pros

Given a lot of flexibility to learn what you need to get the features implemented. Code will only make it into production based on what manager you intern for.

    Cons

It's necessary to be self-motivated, things move slow in government

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start using agile methodologies and source control across the board.
