Fast pace, prestigious environment with set hours

    Cons

Some say the NYSE is outdated, and all for show

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Figure out a way to create more exclusive trading sequences, and extend the IPO launch and parties to everyone!

I have been working at NYSE Euronext full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Great colleagues and a sense of empowerment to do your best work. Ability to voice your opinion without fear of retaliation, good benefits, volunteer opportunities and flexible work environments, such as teleworking.

    Cons

Acquired by Intercontinental Exchange. Very different work culture. Seems to value keeping your head down and working long hours. At first glance very "Dickensian" though early days yet. Hopefully morale will improve (without any flogging).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better communication; true integration of existing policies that work. Try harder not to come off as forcing a perceived "square" peg into a round hole.
