    Pros

Close relationships, ability to work closely with operations and other groups. Ability to learn about the business and the industry.

    Cons

Company doesn't have the best employee relationships and doesn't seem to value the people they have. Lack of schedule flexibility.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make decisions based on knowledge and skill level and hard work. Understand and promote the strongest and those that may challenge the status quo. Act like the employees are one of the greatest assets rather than just saying that. Consider flexible schedules and alternate work schedules, which are easy ways to improve employee morale and doesn't carry a high cost. Invest in management training.
