    Pros

Working with smart, good people. They tried to make it fun, although the workload made that really difficult.

    Cons

Terrible, bloated management; lack of vision means products with no customers, and product releases canceled. Management team runs from one opportunity to another. Agile process was never followed and used mostly for cover. Engineering runs rogue at times. No specs. Teams in India are not keep abreast of changes. Documentation is not reviewed.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I have no clue, except to get rid of the managers who make everyone miserable.

  7.

Poor overall executive team. Where is the DNA of defensive cyber security in its products?

I worked at Narus full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The CTO Office host a competent team of researchers. Comes to engineering, it is a place where they will pay well for head counts in order to keep the noise level down, not about building a product that can protect enterprises from cyber attack, such as network server hardening. Happy goes lucky!

    Cons

Engineering management came to the job without prior relevant experience in basic cyber defense such as server hardening. Mockups shown during RSA Exhibition never made into a product. After couple years of the new management, yet to find a revenue stream that can enable it to meet its expenditures and financial obligations, instead, it begs additional funds in multi-millions from its parent company, Overall lack of honesty and integrity.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

A new executive team is needed sooner than later.
