    I have been working at National Analysts full-time

    Pros

    * Great work environment
    * Intelligent people
    * Low workload (generally 40 hours per week)
    * Independence
    * Management expects many people to stay as long-term employees

    Cons

    * Advancement doesn't really change what you do day-to-day (i.e., you can get promoted, but you're basically going to be doing the same thing for a decade).
    * Hard to get raises after first year
    * Existing practices are very difficult to change.
    * Projects can get to be somewhat boring.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Need to embrace new technologies (especially in terms of survey software)

    Pros

    You're surrounded by smart, good people. The offices are beautiful. It's like intellectual boot camp, and if you end up enjoying market research, you couldn't learn at a better place.

    Cons

    Typical MR - the juniors do all the work, the VPs make all the money. In addition, the company is not on the cutting edge in terms of methodology - they are slow to adopt innovation.

    I have been working at National Analysts

    Pros

    The working location and environement is very good. The people there are nice too. They try to supply a comfortbale working place.

    Cons

    The company is not big. It is very hard to get big promotion there. The VPs are very exprienced expert and most of them have PhD degree. But they like to hire young people (undergraduate) to help them, because they would not pay higher salary to master degree or PhD degree. Most of employee are very young.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    I think they can hire some master or PhD people. Many young people just worked there for one or two years and then left. It is not stable enough.
