I have been working at National Australia Bank full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Consistent values supporting community responsibility and best value for customers, work-life balance, flexible working environment, pursuit of excellence

    Cons

My perspective (level 4 position) may be skewed more positively than more junior positions. I have had some feedback from others that there is less flexibility, etc for level 1 and 2 positions. However many of the pros would remain true for all staff.

I worked at National Australia Bank full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Lots of opportunities
They will invest in you if you can bring a good business case
    Fantastic work life balance
    Very proactive team

    Cons

Heaps of politics - especially as restructures happen more often than not due to cost cutting
Pay is not as good as competitors

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Look after your staff
Pay inline with the market and they will stay even longer
Try and dispense with the politics and the restructures where management already knows who is getting what position - make it fair or call it what it is "a clean house"
