    Pros

Money is ok, San Diego is cool, hours aren't too bad, clean office with air conditioning, logistics department is cool people

    Cons

The entire office with boss you around, a bunch of salespeople who don't understand your job and treat you like garbage, logistics is nice but they're in Michigan

    Pros

This company has a great atmosphere. Its fun, upbeat, positive. People are supportive, thankful, encouraging. Everyone seems to be easy to work with and happy.

The company is always trying to improve. Revamping the building in brighter colors, new furniture, new ideas. Lots of perks - company parties for many major and minor holidays, celebrations of awards, catered food for meetings and training sessions, team building days, employee appreciation picnics, major sports game celebrations. Employee programs that assist in health and wellness.

Great benefits, cheap and comprehensive healthcare.

Training includes demonstration/tutorial videos, catered training meetings, good documentation and support materials, access to major training websites.

    Cons

Its a fast paced environment and there are always changes occurring - most of which are for the better. You have to keep up and be open to changes.

I have been working at National Food Group

    Pros

The company provides a fun and up tempo environment. There is rarely a day where people are walking around just waiting for the day to be over. Management has a very "doors open" policy for anyone to share their thoughts, ideas, and future goals

    Cons

I cannot name any cons of working here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep the current mentality of innovation and growth which has allowed the company to flourish.

    Pros

I love going to work knowing that there is always going to be something new happening. Management is always taking an extra step and investing into the growth of the company as a whole. Marketing is fresh and captivating; we're doing trendier pieces with videos and social marketing. The office is open and everyone is respectful of one another. We always have fun while working hard at the same time.

    Cons

Room for career growth is limited.
Large gap between the sales force and sales support group.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to focus on keeping the current employees happy and more involved (better training and equipment).

    Pros

The culture at National Food Group is fun and positive. They have strong core values and treat their employees well. Some major perks of working here are the workout facility, half-day Friday's during the summer, and a positive atmosphere.

    Cons

Considering the size of the company, there may not be as much room for career advancement as some people would like to see. However, there may be more opportunity for this in the future.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper management is easily accessible and always helpful.

    Pros

This company caters to the entrepreneurial spirit of all of its employees. People are free to be creative, but are accountable for results. The environment is fast and fun, where everyone wants to help the company continue its growth. Truly a unique team where employees have input and everyone can contribute. People seem genuinely happy and fun to be around. The pay is great and we are financially rewarded for hard work and success. Always reminded of the team's success and vision.

    Cons

It can be frustrating to team members when some coworkers aren't as dedicated. Finding good teammates can be a challenge.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue adding talent to the team that brings positivity and fun to the environment. Don't allow the negative few bring others down.
