I worked at National Starch and Chemical full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

At National there are a lot of good people. It feels like working with family there. There are a lot of great opportunities to learn about technology and business.

    Cons

The employees are quite certain they could earn better money elsewhere. Often, those who leave to go to other companies confirm that pay is better in other industries. This hurts morale.

    Pros

Market leader in what they do. The make speciality starches for food, nutrition and pharmaceutical platforms. GO to market team attitude of the employees make this company a very [rpgressive company in the field.

    Cons

Cannot think of anyone at this point. Another good thing is the average work experience of employee at national is 18 years that means that employees stick around for that many years, there must be something nice about the company.
