Prosmost of the students are cool, but whether the environment is good depends on the faculty.
the whole atmosphere is great which can change students a lot.

Conssome professors are not good enough to teach students
they don't have correct way to keep students attention.

It is OK to work here

    Research Assistant (Former Employee)
    Taipei (Taiwan)

    ProsThe best university in Taiwan.
The professors, researches, and the undergraduate students here are excellent.
If you graduate from here, you don't have to worry about finding a decent job in Taiwan.

ConsThe research budget in my lab is pretty low.
The date when the salary is issued can not be guaranteed.
The salary for a PhD student is really low, which is not enough to survive. PhD students usually work for other part-time jobs (such as tutor outside the university) to gain additional income.

    ProsAs a master student:
    1. Higher degree if you graduate successfully
    2. Good training to conduct a research
    3. Chance to get more publications (if you want to apply for PhD abroad)

    As an RA:
    1. Chance to see how a professor manage a laboratory (find funding, manage research progresses, ...)
    2. Chance to do research with enterprises (ITRI, or some other companies...)

Cons1. lower wages (if you take this as a job......)
    2. your graduation is not really guaranteed (however, it depends on the boss or the area you choose)

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
