I have been working at National University Hospital full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The main reason to work here is stability of the industry.

    Cons

Slow career progression and limited exposure. If you are someone who just wants a stable job, desk-bound and does not like to challenge yourself, this is the place to be in.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper management should have a better evaluation on staff recruitment matter i.e. hire the right person for the right job.

I worked at National University Hospital full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Employees are treated quite fairly.

    Cons

Not much improvements done to feedback given; just using the feedback schemes for show.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to take in feedback and look into it. 1 satisfaction is better than none. I believe most feedback given were reasonable, hence, no harm trying to improve. The company did hire people to look into employee satisfaction, yet most were looking into customer satisfaction. The company did not hire employees to wait from 5pm to 5.30pm just waiting for knock-off, did they?

    Cons

Promotion based on experience. No room for creativity. Food at the staff canteen sucks and is expensive. can be boring work as tasks are mostly routine

Although a public hospital with limited resources for entertainment, more could be done to improve on benefits for staff. Pantry upgrades?
