ConsUnderpaid and over worked for the work done. Home/work life balance horrible. Hire people who shouldn't be in the positions hired for

    Continue to be frustrated

Investor Reporting Analyst (Current Employee) Lewisville, TX

ProsThis is not a job that goes home with you.

ConsManagement is very unorganized, there seems to be zero promotion from within. The decisions that have been made in the past two years are extremely frustrating, and this has discouraged me from wanting to be here.

Advice to Senior ManagementThere are no incentives to work hard, and there are no penalty for shoddy work. Motivation among employees is very low.

    Unorganized, and unknowledgeable

Foreclosure Specialist (Current Employee) Lewisville, TX

ProsLarge office to network and make new friends

ConsManagement never seems to know what is going on and are not on the same page about anything. Management puts off major issues until they become SERIOUS, and the become panicked. The office is reactionary instead of pro active. Most of the management is fairly new and do not know much about their own jobs, much less how to help employees with questions.

    Annoying

Foreclosure Specialist (Former Employee) Lewisville, TX

ProsHire new college grads with no experience.
Most employees are young and environment is fun.

ConsManagement lacks knowledge in their department.
    Management micromanages.

Advice to Senior ManagementEducate yourself in your department even if you will only be over that section for a few months. Knowledge is power and will be more credible from employees.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

ConsPolitics play a role in opportunities to move up within the company.

Advice to Senior ManagementPromote based on merit and abilities/knowledge rather than promoting based on favoritism.

Used for cheap labor, would not recommend

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Lewisville, TX

ProsThe people in the office were good, nice and friendly. The work load was not that bad, but at times it will get piled on.

ConsLow pay, corp management does not care, offshore 'teams' has no idea what they are doing and you will have to clean up their mess. very disorganized, you will get conflicting instructions and priorities will change every week.

Advice to Senior Managementstop caring about how much quantity for work and more on quality. Outsourcing is not a good solution and is cause more and more problems. Transperancy on intentions would be nice too. such as knowing you would shut down two sites in over 6 months in advance but not speaking a word of it and then upping workloads for those still at the company. I would bet against NSM staying in business

    Don't do it!

    Auditor (Former Employee) Lewisville, TX

ProsNone! Don't do it is all I can say!

ConsThere are much better places to work for. This is a dishonest company. The company does not know how to treat employees. I was working on an audit for late fees and they found over 90% of customer accounts were being charged incorrectly and they immediately placed the audit on hold so that it didn't get back to the OCC. They are not a company considered for doing the right thing. You definitely don't want to put Nationstar on your resume. Keep going and don't look back. I still have nightmares about this company.
