    Pros

Future is promising! Many positive challenges ahead. Management shows care for their employees, and is supportive of activities to promote employees engagement and rebooting of morale as necessary. Excellent benefits except for the accrual of leave time first year. Co. cares for the staff and has done a 360 when compared to years past. Amazing opportunities ahead.

    Cons

Hard working crew! Can be somewhat stressful due to slow stabilization following the implementation / integration of new systems and change management. But that is not uncommon when upgrading systems and knowledge base.

I have been working at Nature's Products full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good place to get experience. Benefits are really good.

    Cons

Favoritism towards those that are part of the family. CEO very short tempered. Company would rather lose good talent than compensate with industry average wages. Extremely high employee turnaround rate.

    Advice to Management

Keep the good talent by offering higher pay. Stop with the mentality that anyone can be easily replaced.

    I worked at Nature's Products full-time

    Pros

Other than benefits, I can't think of anything positive. Expect to be paid below average if you choose to work here.

    Cons

Micromanaged at the director and VP level, nepotism favoring unqualified yes-men. This company is failing miserably, which is negatively affecting their reputation.

    Advice to Management

The family in charge and their lackeys do not have the capacity to improve. They wouldn't heed advice even if it came from the almighty himself.

I have been working at Nature's Products full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I have been here 5 years and there is no other place I would rather be. Co-Workers Wonderful co-workers, everyone here is so nice and gets along very well with one another. Everyone is caring and helpful. Co-workers try and make each other feel special by recognizing birthdays or special events and the company culture as a whole is just comfortable and accepting. Building The building is big and cubical and desks are a generous size. There is plenty of room to organize your essentials. There is a break room with plenty of tables and chairs, two fridges, microwave and complimentary coffee. The building is situated on a nice round street so you can take a pleasant walk around the block on your breaks. There is a covered patio for outdoor dining. Management The managers here are down to earth, friendly and professional. They do their best show appreciation through positive words, lunches, gift cards, holiday party and other recognition. Clear communicators and are genuinely caring. Company (NPI) The company actually cares about your health and have different resources to show their support. Benefits The health care options are affordable and provide great coverage. There is dental, vision, life, disability and even legal services options. There is PTO and 8 holidays off!

    Cons

It is challenging to keep up with the work load. There are tons of changes that happen all the time and flexibility is absolutely necessary. Having an incredibly positive attitude and the ability to handle stress and stay pleasant under pressure can be challenging and is required at all times. No job is perfect and this is no exception, there are mishaps and inconveniences that have to be handled with care and effort. Complaining isn’t tolerated. You have to have a stronger skill set than that to handle the work load here.

Sounds like a great opportunity from the outside, but a let down once in.

    Pros

There is so much diss-function that if you can survive for over a year, you can actually leave a better manager.

    Cons

Too many to go into in detail - but to sum it up, terrible management specially in the operations side.

    Pros

Good Medical benefits. Beautiful building in a beautiful industrial park.

    Cons

Rampant nepotism & cronyism. Lack of leadership from upper management. Incompetent middle managers. Most upper managers are of the founder's family.

    Advice to Management

Get into the trenches with the troops to see for yourselves how the work is really coming along instead of relying on the rosy pictures the incompetent middle managers paint for you.

I worked at Nature's Products full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Paid Health Benefits. On site work out facility.

    Cons

Upper management is ruled by emotions. You can do everything right but if not liked you have a bullseye on your back. They terminate people by saying they are restructuring and your position is being done away with, only they rename the position and bring someone in new. Lots of finger pointing and throwing people under the bus instead of stepping up to the plate and taking responsibilty for ones own actions.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the lower echelon working for you. They are the front line and really know what is going on.
