    Pros

    This company offers Excellent benefits.
Career advancement is available for those people that work hard. This company likes to promote from within.

    Cons

Senior management creates and promotes a divisive and fearful culture.
Senior management shows absolutely zero compassion or loyalty to long-term employees.
Pay rates are lower than average.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Senior management must learn leaderships skills that motivate employees and they must stop demeaning and insulting the staff. Stop micromanaging your mid-level managers and trust their abilities to lead.Stop being paranoid that everyone is out to sabotage your success.

    I worked at Nature's Products

    Pros

There is so much diss-function that if you can survive for over a year, you can actually leave a better manager.

    Cons

Too many to go into in detail - but to sum it up, terrible management specially in the operations side.

I have been working at Nature's Products

    Pros

Good Medical benefits. Beautiful building in a beautiful industrial park.

    Cons

Rampant nepotism & cronyism. Lack of leadership from upper management. Incompetent middle managers. Most upper managers are of the founder's family.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get into the trenches with the troops to see for yourselves how the work is really coming along instead of relying on the rosy pictures the incompetent middle managers paint for you.

I worked at Nature's Products full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Paid Health Benefits. On site work out facility.

    Cons

Upper management is ruled by emotions. You can do everything right but if not liked you have a bullseye on your back. They terminate people by saying they are restructuring and your position is being done away with, only they rename the position and bring someone in new. Lots of finger pointing and throwing people under the bus instead of stepping up to the plate and taking responsibilty for ones own actions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to the lower echelon working for you. They are the front line and really know what is going on.
