I have been working at Nautilus Insurance full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Medical Benefits, career pathing, competitive salary, lots of employee appreciation events (company picnic, luncheons, holiday party, monthly meetings, halloween celebration and etc), casual dress attire in the summer, friendly team environment, encourages employees to continue their education, Nautilus empowers their employees and provides good job mentoring. Overall Nautilus is a great company to work for and are very appreciative of their employees.
Cons – Like every company some managers lack communication skill, however, over the last year management has improved upon this. Gossip among the staff can occur and some employees are a little fake ( maybe 10%).
Advice to Senior Management – Help motivate team members that don't feel challenged. Empower all employees not just the over achievers.

I worked at Nautilus Insurance
Pros – good pay
good benefits
covered parking
dedicated employees
Cons – lack of management
lack of training
too much favoritism
inconsistencies across all departments
huge lack of communication
Advice to Senior Management – Management should be more receptive to feedback and back the employee's. When working with contract employee's, upper management tends to favor the contract employee's and discount the NIC personnell. Low morale has been an issue for several years.

I have been working at Nautilus Insurance
Pros – Benefits are excellent even in the current economic landscape. Location in north Scottsdale close to shops and the facilities are great.
Cons – The working environment can be described as going on a safari. There are snakes and lions out there. Just when you think it is safe they will pounce at review time without warning. Also, self protectionism is rampant. Hierarchy yes.Team work no. The behavior of a hierarchy is the polar opposite of teamwork. Leadership training is a must for this organization.
Advice to Senior Management – If growth is important then taking a serious look at your management would be a good place to start. Turnover is at an all time high and the word on the street is out. If the team is not performing maybe its time to fire the coach.
