Nice work life balance but limited career growth

Plenty of opportunity but long hours

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

I worked at NaviSite full-time

ProsNaviSite made an early push into the cloud along with some major investments in technology so this was a great place to gain early cloud experience.

ConsPlace was a bit dysfunctional with changes in management and the Time Warner cable acquisition. Sales typically over-promised and the operations team was not staffed to the level required resulting in many unhappy customers.

Advice to Senior ManagementSet a strategy and stick to it.

Not the same as it was under new management

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

I worked at NaviSite full-time for more than 3 years

Prosexposure to various technologies
Some good managers

Consnew management is all about numbers. They believe they can cut people to save money and hire temps from India to fill in when needed. Sometimes valuable knowledge leaves and new temps don't have time to ramp up leading to unsatisfied customers. Listen to employees to often unless you were part of the new regime you opinion doesn't matter and good people
have left.
salary is usually lower due to hiring from within.

Advice to Senior ManagementDecide on a direction and focus on it. Navisite is position well for growth so don't miss out. Focus on retention of exp people with less temp h1b visas.

Andover, MA

I worked at NaviSite full-time for more than a year

Proscompetitive salary, decent benefits, relaxed workplace, flexible hours and telecommuting. Co-workers easy to get along with

Conslost its identity after being bought by Time Warner Cable. Parent company exerting too much control. Even though understaffed, there were times where employees were shuffled around due to cubicle constraints. 401k plan not up to par

Advice to Senior Managementbeef up the staff or the employees will start leaving in droves
