    Pros

Training is great and employees are very friendly. Open 24 hours with different shifts and departments.

    Cons

Some of supervisors are inconsiderate of single parents with kids and having to request a shift change and its too many things you have to say and do while on the phone assisting members and A&B offers have to be at 52% each month and this should be taken away. You get scored for everything you do or say.

    Pros

You get sick leave and personal leave which is a plus. They work around school schedules. Team outings are always fun. You move up ranks quickly. You are not pressured to meet goals, everyone does it together as a team.

    Cons

Rules are changing every other day. Management tells you to do one thing one way and the next day totally different. That is really the only downside.

    Pros

Navy Federal Has a high number of Holidays, Sick day considerations. And works with the employee to look after their family responsibilities I worked four 10 hour days with three days off every week.

    Cons

This is a very diverse population of employees. Promotion from within and a program called Partners in Performance. The Board meets and sets goals to be meet by the company and the employee and the company join as Partners to meet the Goals. A very generous bonus is the result of meeting and exceeding the objectives.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to listen to your partners and grow to exceed the previous years effort.

    Pros

I work at HQ so my review is for this location only: Great Benefits, job stability, fare compensation, always looking for ways to improve employee environment (free massage chairs, ergonomic work tools, on location health center and large gym w/ locker room and towel service, discounted 15 min seated and table massge!) beautiful campus w/ walking trail, full service cafeteria w/ Starbucks espresso bar. Employee culture and community is a big focus of Navy Federal.

    Cons

Parking can be diffucult at times but plans are in the works to make improvements. Middle managment tends to be underwhelming. Managers need more training and guidance to help thier employees shine and grow.

    Pros

Opportunities to be promoted and move into other job positions within the company, competitive pay, great benefits, clean and friendly work environment, good work-life balance, willingness of leadership to listen to their employees.

    Cons

At times there can be overwhelming workloads (depending on what department you work in), unrealistic expectations placed on employees to complete too many tasks in very little time, displays of favoritism, too many training classes that run longer than they should, computer systems often have issues that slow employees down.

Former Employee - Msr in Winchester, VA

    Pros

Pay is decent, especially with bonuses, o/t, shift differential.

    Cons

Nearly everything. Rules take priority over everything, including performance. Supervisors don't support team members, are stuck with bean-counting chores that wouldn't let them help team members if they wanted to. Procedures change daily. Computers and headsets not sufficiently up to date to do the work properly.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Spend money on what makes the work flow more smoothly. Stop with so many rules. Be supportive, not just cheerleaders for phony purposes. Stop membership drives until there are enough employees and new members can be properly taken care of.
