    Pros

Very nice welfare. HR are very nice people, and it seems they try hard to give attention to employees, from start till end. sometimes it's hard because workers are spread all over at clients places.

    Cons

Not taking care of workers that works at client site, trying but not succeding, and not trying enough.
Salaries are medium compare to industry.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take care of the employees working at the clients, because the clients wont take care of them.

I have been working at Ness Technologies full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

when they suddenly fire you (Paypal is yet to figure out completely which way it wants to move, agile - not agile, Chennai - Bangalore, Java - C++, Desktop - Mobile) they say they will pay 3 months salary

    Cons

    1) well, They dont.
    2) if you resign and Paypal releases you before 3 months, Ness forces you to pay 3 months salary to them else they do not give you experience certificate.
    3) No hike this year.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

stop mooching off your resigning employees guys, that is pathetic.

I worked at Ness Technologies full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Good joining hike - if you are going to work with one of the few high paying clients, you might get as much as 100% hike.

    Cons

    1. No HR support. They are there only to harass you. I am not exaggerating. It is generally not a problem IFF you are working with a client, so you won't be needing them anyway except yearly ITR filing. But any other time, and they will attack you for asking them to do their job.

    2. Poor financial management. Ness is known to miss filing 26AS forms regularly. If you resign, they will ask you to claim your last month's salary as Tax Return.

    3. No appraisal. You will be lucky if you get 5% appraisal over the year.

    4. No notice period. Ness has no projects so your last date is decided by your client. Since your client is not dealing with you but instead it is dealing with Ness, it all depends on your client manager. If you ask Ness to give basic pay for notice period, they will use every possible way to not let that happen. This is even though it says otherwise in the contract. Unless you are prepared to sue, you are screwed.

Basically, Ness is a body-shop with no internal projects. Every employee in Ness office is HR and they are mostly busy saving their jobs but 'sticking together'. There is rampant politics and no recourse for people who actually work.

It is all hunky-dory while joining, but parting is really painful. After 1 year I am still running around Ness to give me my PF details.

    Fire everyone :)

    Pros

Good opportunity for beginners, good people all around.

    Cons

Salary isn't that good compared to other companies. All the perks that are taken for granted in other companies are missing here. For example, no subsidize of food...

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Improve good employments salary and perks.
