I worked at Nestlé full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Line level management was good to work with, however there was little structure to the organization. As a shift manager, it was more important to put out fires that occurred during the shift, rather than to meet any organizational goals long term.

    Cons

Human resources was very antagonistic to supervisors and above. Instead of supporting management decisions, HR would act as an employees advocate, even when there was blatant and egregious violations of policy. Numerous times, HR generalists would form friendships and romantic entanglements with frontline employees, and would then shield them from any type of performance counseling

    Advice to Management

Although the company states work life balance is important, it does little to encourage this among salaried employees. Supervisors and above were expected to always be on call, and even when assigned to a shift, mandatory meetings would be scheduled opposite this.

  3. Good Money but a lot of bullying goes with it.

I have been working at Nestlé full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great Pay, 2 weeks off at the end of the year, if your a supervisor you get paid if you are an hourly employee your forced to use your vacation or get load off the last two weeks of the year.

    Cons

Upper Management really does not care about their supervisors and it makes it hard for supervisors to do their job. Supervisors get blamed for everything and their is a lot of bullying. The hours are terrible so be prepared to got to work at 2:00 am.

    Advice to Management

The leaders at the plant need to go.
