    Pros

Generally, I like the way employees are treating each other. They normally quite engaged to result achievement while being friendly.

    Cons

Sometimes it's difficult to find a real decision maker and the one committed to take responsibility.

    Pros

Although company's size an employee can be noticed and her/his well done job appreciated. Many ways of managing own career. Decentralized approach to businesses allows to develop and test new ideas. A company culture requires certain level of maturity and then rewards back with acceptance and appreciation.

    Cons

More action less talking would be appreciated. Too much tolerance for mistakes.

    Pros

Although it depends a lot on the management, people are generally well considered and taken care of
The salary given by the company is quite good
The location of the headquarter is in a nice and quiet small city by the lake, beautiful landscape around

    Cons

Political games don't always benefit to the company
If you don't know people, you don't get things done
Due to the sheer size of the company, many inefficient processes and people reduce the productivity of the teams

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The lack of trust from management is badly affecting the motivation of the people
One can't get everything, we can indeed reduct staff however trying to do much more with much less resources/budget generates confusion and chaos

    Pros

    • Global company, with an extremely strong reputation and culture.
    • Full responsibility from day 1.
    • Strong commitment to invest in Training & Development
    • Clear career path, that adapts to one’s desires.
    • Extremely healthy work environment between peers, co-workers, and superiors.

    Cons

Nestlé has a strong political environment - too much, at least, for my personal taste. I consider myself a results-oriented person who strongly believes in meritocracy, however, at Nestlé networking or knowing the right people can sometimes help you more than sticking to the hard-work philosophy.

Former Employee - Human Resources Contract in York, England (UK)

    Pros

Strong ethics and principles on the customer business management side - was particularly impressed when a senior interviewing sales manager immediately destroyed commercially sensitive competitive information that a candidate brought for a presentation.

    A global food player.

    Cons

Just because it's global doesn't mean you're guaranteed a global career - varies by function.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's not my place to advise - all the ones I encountered were very hard working and ethical.
