    Great people at lower levels, leadership not so much

    Associate Brand Manager (Current Employee) Los Angeles, CA

    ProsFrom marketing team perspective:
    - outstanding people on the brand teams, fun to work with
    - varied work, much of it interesting
    - great brands to work on that you get to see on shelf in store

    Cons- High level mgmt. is obsessed with hitting quarterly numbers to the detriment of long-term brand growth
    - Very slow moving; the company wants to be entrepreneurial, but is too big to move quickly on anything
    - Most marketers have MBAs, but spend 50% of their time doing non-MBA level work;

    Advice to Senior Management- Bring in analysts to off-load unskilled work on lower paid employees so more skilled employees can focus on work that truly drives the business
