I worked at Nestlé USA full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - The people - relatively easy job

    Cons

    - change the CEO - morale, everyone started walking on egg shells - mind numbing work - very secretive about plans

    Advice to Management

Be a little more open about what is going on. The rumor mill is always churning and no one knows what is going from one day to the next.

    Pros

Great benefits and products . Nice to have s company car.

    Cons

Need to fix the work life balance . We are on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Pay could be better based on hours put in.

    Advice to Management

Give your employees more than a 2% raise each year. The 2% raise dosen't even cover the cost of increased benefits each year.

I have been working at Nestlé USA full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Work culture, career opportunities, focus on employee development, global exposure, working for a valued, respected, well established global company

    Cons

Slow decision making, too many initiatives, unreal working hours (too long), expected to do a lot of different things at any given time, instead of focusing on the critical few. Pay not competitive and no stock options

    Advice to Management

Deconstruct the initiatives (TPM, Lean, Foundations etc) and make it simple & practical. Don't try to push everything down to the "floor" or operator level. Focus on mid-level management and get their inputs & buy-in.
