    Pros

Some good people in the Houston office. Attempting to launch a new platform.

    Cons

Outdated technology, On credit hold from vendors like Avaya and they have let many of their certifications expire. Very few products to sell. Then there is lack of support, 1 voice technician to cover all of Houston, no structured cable engineer.

    Advice to Management

Management seems to be clueless. Too busy watching pennies and not the overall operation of the company. On a positive not, they are attempting to launch a new UC platform, but if they continue to operate like they have been the launch will not be successful. They need to invest in technology, support & people.

    Pros

All of the management and employees are very dedicated and passionate about the company. Employees go the extra distance to exceed customer expectations.

    Cons

Needed more newer technology and process to get work activities completed. Minimum employee benefits like sick time and 401K company matching to be competitive.

    Advice to Management

Upgrade back office support to be more efficient

    Pros

All benefits were taken care of as well as well as PTOs and paid tuition. Daily planning, inventory of needed equipments and organizing before dispatching to our various locations for the day's schedule. It was a fun place to work.

    Cons

The Colorado office shouldn't have been closed.

    Advice to Management

    Colorado branch should be reactivated.

  7. Lack of good management, did not care about the company. Had one really good manager and he was railroaded out the door

    Pros

Organized in terms of Enterprises Resource Management

    Cons

Incompetant and greedy management drove the company into debt and eventually was bought out.
No pay raises or annual reviews. We also never paid our vendors. Also very top heavy management

    Advice to Management

The company was eventually rescued by Lynn Tilson but my advice to the upper management was treat your people and customers with respect.

  8. The new CEO is disconnected from marketplace and employees.

    Pros

The company is owned by the Patriarch Group with assets of $8B. They could have a great story to tell if NetVersant were truly part of the family.

    Cons

The company went through structured bankruptcy and managed under a microscope. cash flow issues abound and new CEO has cut headcount by probably 25%-35%. Others have left under their own volition due to many reasons to elaborate. However when the #2 & #3 ranked sales people for the last 3 years leave , red flags go up.

    Advice to Management

It is important for any company to have a business plan, mission statement, articulate it, and stick to it. NetVersant doesn't know what it wants to be.

    Pros

Great people to work with and benefits were average, good technical knowledge of customer’s needs, and requirements to have a national presents.

    Cons

Upper management did not know the level of customer care the call center provided to their customers before reducing workforce. No communications to the employees with where the company was headed.

    Advice to Management

. Review all current procedure’s to keep the level of customer care to highest satisfaction before making changes and know the daily duties of employee’s before making changes.
