I have been working at Network Hardware Resale full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Company has been growing and is constantly thriving to find ways to improve both the offerings to customers and the environment for employees. I have been here over 5 years and have seen first handed how people who come in and really work hard for the company and contribute are given opportunities to expand into new positions within the organization. Solid work with a good attitude and dedication is recognized and rewarded. Salaries are competitive in the area, benefits are great, having on-site gym, yoga, basketball and other perks makes this a fun place to work.

    Cons

Some senior management are not as accessible or in touch with what is happening on the floor. As with any larger company there are people who take advantage. It can get really busy with all the growth, sometimes hard to get away.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Offer more training opportunities. Really listen to concerns and come out and get to know the employees and what is going on.

    Pros

Great work/life balance. Yoga and gym downstairs. Company is really united culturally and about doing the right thing. NHR holds itself to the highest standards and it is easy to go above and beyond for your client. The sales floor operates in teams and is constantly buzzing. A fast-paced work environment that thrives on creativity, dedication and enthusiasm. Good people all around.

    Cons

When I was hired they were in the process of formalizing training. . . Now I believe it is much stronger. Lots of being on the phone and cold calling

I worked at Network Hardware Resale full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Relaxed about requesting time off & going into leave without pay.

    Cons

Little to no training, Everyone has a set way of doing things their own way, there is no structure. If you don't attend yoga classes or happy hours you're not in the "Click." Lots of favoritism. Many employees committing time card fraud and managers know but turn the other cheek. There is zero communication between departments. This is also a gray market company, at best.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Follow through with promises, create a training program for new hires, start being available to employees instead of a day late and a dollar short. Also stand up for your employees instead of siding with Sales Executives. Since they're the "money makers."

I have been working at Network Hardware Resale full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

if you are hungry, willing to work hard at what can be repetitive work (calling, quoting, calling some more), the opportunities here are really unlimited.

    Cons

need to be motivated and self-regulated. Not too much management oversight. Evaluations made more on what you do, not how good you look doing it or what friends you make.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

more training and hands-on management would make life easier. I have to answer a lot of my own questions.

    Horrible! Unethical

I worked at Network Hardware Resale

    Pros

Nothing good at all. This place is toxic at best. If I have to say anything good, it's they do have a gym on location.

    Cons

People are promoted to upper level management without any prior training. Executives act inappropriate towards employees. There is no structure for a harassment free work place.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn how to manage people and stop conducting unethical internal practices

Good benefits, profitable company, and nice company outings.

    Cons

High turnover, poor on the job training, unprofessional behavior, a cesspool of greed and backstabbing, unrealistic expectations for employees, and low company moral.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be realistic in what you want and are asking of your employees.

    Pros

Beautiful office and location but that's about it...
I would not recommend working here at all unless you want to have no training, no communication and have your manager throw you under the bus.

    Cons

    Rude and Disrespectful Managers/Executives/Consultants
Rude employees who are immature, cliquey and who do not get the training or support from management that is needed to be successful.
Subpar performance is rewarded or duties are reassigned to others in the department or other departments to accommodate a low performer instead of the manager "managing" the issue.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The CEO needs to do some serious Executive housecleaning if he wants his company to be successful!

I have been working at Network Hardware Resale

    Pros

I have the extreme pleasure of being an outside source for potential employees for NHR. I have worked with NHR for almost 14 years. I have found through the growth and changes they have stayed true to what the foundation of the company is their employees. I have seen so many wonderful career opportunities for the employees that they may not have had else where. They have top talent which certainly shows in their growth. It's amazing to have the opportunity to work with a company of the caliber of NHR.

    Cons

There really aren't any cons you just can't please everyone

I worked at Network Hardware Resale full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Some opportunities for growth if you are in the right position and are liked by your team mates.
great learning environment for technicians and engineers.

    Cons

"Sales" driven company. no apparent focus on developing any other area of the business other than talking about it. actions speak louder than words. Disorganized management structure. structure of sales department prevents growth for newer salesmen as higher selling salesmen get the lion's share leaving newer salesmen with little to nothing. no team work on the sales floor. fierce competition amongst fellow salesmen. serious lack of company culture. low moral. politics and favoritism get in the way of development and growth. salaries are low as compared to direct competitors. lack of growth opportunities leave staff feeling "Disposable". high turn over rate.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on developing other areas of the business and follow through. just growing sales numbers will not grow the business. if the rest of the company cant come through on a sales promise, its worthless. Consider an overhaul of the sales department. Salesmen are the bread winners but they are not the dictators or how we do business. Focus on developing employees within. invest time and money into training. work on boosting moral. include all areas of the company in talks for strategic growth not just executives and senior sales. Listen to your employees they have good advice. try to change their attitude of "speak up and get fired"
