Neusoft is one of the worst companies in China

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsWorking with my foreign collegaues. They were all very professional and fun to work with. The Chinese management and HR was a nightmare.

ConsBad management.Every call or email with questions or problems were completely ignored. The people from the HR didn't speak English and lied about our contracts. They sign you up for a year but if they screw up a project with important clients they will fire you after a month!

Good advice: don't know how to dismantle USB ports on a PC?Use a glue gun!And this brilliant solution happened in China's most leading IT company!Go figure the level of those people.

Advice to Senior ManagementHire better managers.Improve the working conditions and rights from your employees.

Not bad; very Chinese company trying to make it internationally

    Systems Engineer (Former Employee)
    Shenyang, Liaoning (China)

ProsUpper management has the will to make positive change, so things are generally moving in the right direction.

ConsStill very ineffective corporate culture (ie. throwing lots of hours at problems instead of analysing them), lots of bureaucracy/procedures that can get in the way of getting the job done. Unpaid overtime expected.

Reputable name in the industry, hierarchical culture

    Pre-Sales Manager (Former Employee)
    Shenyang, Liaoning (China)

ProsCompany is very well known within the industry in China, a good company to have on your resume. Lots of opportunities for growth if you are a software engineer.

ConsNot much growth opportunities for administrative and sales staff. Very hierarchical culture, where the management makes decisions about everything, opinions from bottom levels are rarely considered. Lots of overtime for international departments.
