Pros
The people are great and the office is pretty laid back
Cons
There is quite a bit of change that you must deal with every quarter
Advice to Senior Management
I think the way they are headed is on the right path
Pros
The employees of this company are hard-working and talented. They make the day-to-day issues and problems this company has somewhat bareable.
Cons
The salary and benefits packages are laughable and below par for the Austin area and the U.S. in general. You are never given a true opportunity to succeed. There is rapid turnover in every area of the company. Promises made during the hiring process, as well as annual reviews, are never fullfilled. Management spends more time on the golf course than managing employees.
Advice to Senior Management
Provide the tools and resources for employees to be successful, and your company will truly be successful. If you show that you actually value your employees, not just the salesfoce, your employees will work harder for you.
Pros
Worldwide offices, nice exposure.
Good executive team.
A lot of intelligent people.
Decent socialization at onsite events (end of quarter lunches, etc) but that has been very discouraged lately.
Cons
A lot of turnover.
Lack of accountability in many depts.
Middle managers.
Expenses run wild sometimes.
Inappropriate relationships between co-workers overlooked.
Lots of office gossip.
Deserving employees demoted.
Only a few decent sales reps left in US.
Very low morale in US office.
Advice to Senior Management
More accountability across the board in all depts.
More transparency.
Involve more middle management and lower employees in some discussions, at least request their ideas and see what comes forth.

Pros
The solutions are great and the product is genuinely the best for high availability. Being within the support area would be a good job but sales is a scary environment. If you are able to achieve quotas at a phenominal rate and if you are equiped to hande alot of pressure from upper management then this would probably be a good job for you. If you enter the inside sales role the commisions can be great as long as you work at it but you will need to make at least 100 calls a day in order to achieve a good bonus.
Cons
They let people go quite a bit here. When I started there were seven workers on my team and about ten on the outside sales team. We are now down to two on inside sales and about 3 on outside sales. If you are hired by an agency as a temp to work for Neverfail, they will never hire you on, even though it states that they will hire you on within 6 months your contract. Not happy about that situation at all and it could use some major improvements. The environment is quiet but that is a bad thing since it is becasue all the workers are getting fired.
