    I have been working at New Control

    Pros

    The people are awesome. Its a team atmosphere and everyone works together to deliver to the client. There are certainly challenges but the company always addresses them with a very fair approach. They do promote folks pretty readily as long as they've proven themselves worthy of the next level. There are no timetable rules about promotions which is pretty cool. I've seen alot of people get promoted in the first year or two.

    Cons

    Annual reviews generally are late but, although its frustrating, they do pay any salary increase retro back to your review date. It's definitely a "sink or swim" atmosphere with pretty high expectations. I guess that can be viewed as a positive or a negative depending on how you look at it. They do end up with the best and hardest working people.

    New Control has extremely smart people, but in a somewhat disorganized and chaotic structure

    Pros

    Smart people to work with, fair compensation for new employees, growth opportunity for lower level positions, pleasant, non-prima donna staff, convient.

    Cons

    Limited upward mobility in most positions, compensation for loyal employees can lag, chaotic workflow, cliques form easily among teams, favoritism towards some employees/teams, extremely smart sr staff who are uninterested in being managers/growing their employees

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Take steps to systematize positions and salaries, demand on-time reviews, encourage Sr management to take a greater interest in the growth and eduction of employees.
