    Pros

Things are changing for the better! Salaries are getting comparable to other companies and its a nice small company with lots of chances to grow

    Cons

Maybe a little more training for staff. It's hard work.

    Advice to Management

    Improve the benefits

    Pros

    Nice buildings.... that's it.

    Cons

Corporate doesn't even have a clue as to what they are doing! No wonder the company is struggling, nobody at Corporate knows what they are doing, so (of course) that flows down to the community level. Its a shame.

    Advice to Management

Need to hire individuals who have worked AND been SUCCESSFUL in this business and let them run it! Not just hire Friends & Family. I wonder if the INVESTORS know how much money this company bleeds, with no clue on how go Grow Revenue, only how to blow money and have nothing to show for it.

    Pros

Employees of this company have no confidence in the direction this company is headed. It would be my pleasure to write a review that has a solid list of Pro's, unfortunately that is not the case and the safety or their employees and residents may be at risk.

    Cons

The culture is dynamic and with all the turn-over, its constantly changing. There have been problems with pay checks clearing the bank, insurance benefits that should take 30 days to set-up have taken more than 6 months and the company leadership is lacking in every way imaginable.

    Advice to Management

Good luck! I cant think of a company that is run like yours and is still around...we don't have basic supplies at the care centers but you can afford to buy a Porsche, Land Rover and a BMW as "company cars!?"

    Pros

    There really are no Pro's

    Cons

There is not a lot of support, the higher up staff have no clue what they are doing. Very high turnover rate at this community.

    Advice to Management

Train your managers and corporate staff so they can support the community.

    Pros

New Dawn Memory Care is in an industry that is expected to grow in the coming years.

    Cons

    - Poor Healthcare Coverage - Costing employee > $500 per month for an average family - Very emotionally charged Leadership - Extremely Political - Pay is horrible - Direct Deposit (when available) consists of a person driving bank-to-bank to make deposits - Unrealistic expectations of employees, such as sacrificing one's self to better the company's leadership. - Company expenses are handled by employee first paying for expenses, then seeking reimbursement - When traveling, you are expected to stay in New Dawn's Buildings as opposed to being provided with hotel accommodations - Poor management - False promises - Little to no work-life balance unless you belong to the "right" clique - Full of nepotism (family and personal partners are implanted throughout the business) - The "President" of the company prides themselves on employees fearing them

    Advice to Management

Get with the program! You have a wonderful opportunity, but you are too busy fulfilling your own wants and desires and destroying the people who are getting you there.
