I have been working at New England Sinai Hospital full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great President, empowers employees to make suggestions for changes to improve quality and safety, and reduce expenses. Truly comes from the top down.

    Cons

Employees still living in past from before Steward acquisition. Some need to embrace changes and move on.

    Recommends
    Positive Outlook

I have been working at New England Sinai Hospital

    Pros

Smaller hospital compared to big city, get full one on one experience and advice/assistance from all staff

    Cons

It's obvious that certain department employees to do not want to be there, miserable experience

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    N/a

It was a mixed bag, sometimes good, but often a tough place to work.

I worked at New England Sinai Hospital

    Pros

Good benefits and close camaraderie between staff were great perks. Having an employee of the month and year was a great morale booster.

    Cons

The tendency of staff to stay for years and years led to some superior supervisors, but also some that were no longer effective.

I worked at New England Sinai Hospital

    Pros

Complexity of patient population is compelling to clinical staff, medical staff

    Cons

Sinai used to have a family feel...cohesive, team-oriented towards the same goal. Since the Steward acquisition, there is more "big business" mentality; Leadership needs to be more defined and communicate more with middle management. Employee of the month has been going on for 4 years- it's getting old and now it's like, if you have a pulse, you can get employee of the month.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Communication, Loyalty.

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
