“NHC treats employees poorly and unfairly!”
Former Employee – worked at New Hanover County
Pros – New Hanover County provides a good range of benefits. The monthly fees are low for a lot of the basic services.
Cons – There is poor communication between staff and management. The dept. directors are often placed in the positions based on seniority, rather than merit.
Advice to Senior Management – Middle management needs to go!! I suggest monitoring them more closely to see that they are "pulling their own weight" and not just getting by on the knowledge of their staff.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
