    Pros

    Great Team of people. Family Environment. Smart hard working people who deliver great training and terrific customer service. Individual trainers and center as a whole consistently rank in Top 10 of all New Horizons' locations. Lots of opportunity to learn new technologies.

    Cons

    Small company which leads to somewhat limited opportunities for growth. Small size also requires hard work. Some travel required for instructors. Can be tough industry during lean economic times.

    I have been working at New Horizons Worldwide

    Pros

    Work for a company that is about IT training and has a powerful message and helps people improve in the IT world. Managers and upper level employees are supportive while pushing you to develop yourself at the same time. Work environment is positive and upbeat, with constant respect shown to all employees. Employees are encouraged to improve and develop themselves in aspects of training, because that is what the company does. Appreciate the atmosphere, communication, and support of the CEO and managers.

    Cons

    There are five different locations in Southern California, including Anaheim, Burbank, and San Diego. Communication between the five locations can get a bit difficult as a result. Lastly, because New Horizons is an IT Training company, technology such as video conferencing through Cisco is frequent, but sometimes has issues, which is expected with using technology so often.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Employees enjoy the opportunity to be able to take classes at NH SoCal. Always nice being able to improve your skills to bring better quality to the company as well as for yourself. Also enjoy company meetings in which managers communicate the state of the company, and various events that are happening.

    Pros

    Growth opportunity. There is so much to be grown of this organiztion with the switching control back to the Franchises and being a part of that growth can be exciting.

    Cons

    Difficulty with Franchises agreeing on specific growth opportunities and working together to make it happen.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep bridging communication, give power back to the Franchises with a lightly managed hand and watch confidence be restored and margins fly!
