It is a great place to gain experience in all areas of the non-profit experience from grant writing to programming. Senior management is sensitive to family and education related obligations. The work is rewarding and the exposure is worth the work.
No room for professional growth and the pay/benefits are limited. The organization lacks structure and it appears the agency will remain at the grassroots level.
Advice to Management
Keep all employees informed on programming and organizational changes. Find proven professionals who are capable of fulfilling consulting tasks. Stay strong and motivated.

Strong sense of team spirit. Work/life balance is respected by management.
No room to improve, too structured to grow within the role or get promoted.
