I have been working at New Resources Consulting

    Pros

    Solid Recruiting and Sales Team

    Cons

Senior level consultants are expected to bill 100% of the time. Business Development is expected to be worked on after the 9-5 grind and on week-ends.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start utilizing your experienced consultants as Sales Engineers/Managers during regular business hours.
Give them the tools, time and backing to go after business without the expectation of having to bill 40 hours per week at a client

I worked at New Resources Consulting full-time

    Pros

Great benefits, nice people and the company hosts many after work events to support the community. Nice work-life balance.

    Cons

I wasn't given very much direction and even though I was constantly asking for feedback, I was never really getting any. They weren't open to outside of the box thinking or fresh approaches to gaining new business.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you want to see your employees succeed, give them the tools they need to exceed expectations. One simple suggestion: a training program for new employees.

I worked at New Resources Consulting

    Pros

Decent pay, good office location, free parking downtown included

    Cons

No growth opportunities, poor senior leadership, bad benefits (bad pto policy, no 401k matching, no compensation for college courses, etc), low bar for hiring -- they will take almost anyone, unwilling to spend money to invest in the business

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start hiring stronger people, allow them to grow and progress in their careers, overhaul benefits package, invest in the company and people
