I worked at New Signature full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Growth, Feedback culture, free coffee and juice, CEO is on the same floor with everyone, and treats you that way.

    Cons

Daunting tasks are shoved down the food chain of employees, the lowest link can get stuck running errands and not getting any real work done. Hours are NOT flexible at all.

    I worked at New Signature

    Pros

    Work/life balance, location, brand, colleagues

    Cons

Requires a lot of hustling as it's a small business still working its way up market

  3.

I have been working at New Signature full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

-Great work-life balance, and amazing people to work with
-As many paid Microsoft exams as you can take
-Did I mention the people are great to work with?
-Flexible work hours and two work from home days a month
    -Company really exemplifies it's values

    Cons

-Leadership wants you for the long term, saying you'll go further faster, but not giving specifics or really exemplifying this fact
    -Very strict PTO
-Flexible hours are still rather strict, meant to encourage collaboration (even though a huge portion of the company is remote
-Unclear organizational structure and career advancement opportunities
-Still in an organic growth phase where operations roles are not always clear

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give clear goals for the staff. Everyone is working hard for some nebulous goal which at this time just seems to be 'More Microsoft'. Give a reason for mid-senior staff to sick around rather than 'you'll go further faster'.

I worked at New Signature as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Young average age, great initiatives for recognizing employee work, company sticks to its values

    Cons

Teams keep professional accountability high, but employees can seem clique-y

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Senior Management is still young/trendy enough to set appropriate, but high, goals and can relate well to new hires. Keep looking forward, but if possible, try to develop the company's business model beyond selling a single partner's products.

I worked at New Signature full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Solid leadership and management and a very well run company. Good benefits. Great location. Exciting and challenging work. Great location. Growing company with lots of room to move laterally or vertically. CEO, COO, CFO are all really solid all around.

    Cons

Very strict office hours were required (part of the customer service focus). However, almost never expected to work overtime.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep doing what you're doing.

I have been working at New Signature full-time

    Pros

Highly responsive company both internally and externally. Great downtown location and facility amenities (rooftop access, in-building gym). Entrepreneurial spirit is valued and rewarded.

    Cons

Small company so everyone wears many hats. Cross-departmental communication could use some work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Senior management is passionate about company values and partnerships but can often be reactionary. Work to anticipate, plan ahead and reduce competing priorities

I have been working at New Signature full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Company-wide dedication to responsiveness, technical acumen and great experiences for customers and employees alike. Central location is easily accessible by Metro. Company pays for 100% of health insurance premiums for employees!

    Cons

There are multiple projects and lines of business so priorities can compete at times

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Share company progress towards goal achievement - good and bad - so everyone can see where the business stands and pitch in accordingly

I worked at New Signature full-time

    Pros

    Great health benefits.
    Education reimbursement towards Microsoft certifications
Culture allows you to be exposed to different aspects of the industry, sales, engineering, management, etc.
    Most people are nice

    Cons

Seems they are trying to hit too many markets at the same time, small/medium businesses, products, services, but not enough people to keep up with it, therefore staff is easily over burned.
Mostly a Microsoft shop, won't get a lot, if none, of exposure to other vendors.
    Work/life balance needs improvement
Nickled and dimmed PTO, even if you worked 40+ hours

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management needs to define who management is, senior engineers are not managers but are always involved. A look into their business plan and what the actual goals are is needed.
Employees know they are being watched at all times, creates an untrusting relationship with management
All hands meetings are highly recommended.

There is always someone who has your back if things get difficult.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice
