    Pros

Good Colleagues are the only positive here. People do try to work together to solve issues and get the releases out on time

I worked at New York City Department of Sanitation as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

Easy work week as well as very flexible work hours.

    Cons

Promotions are rare and pay gradient usually shows highest salaries are clustered within the the top three positions in the department shockingly held by mostly males. Most of the females working there over 14 years did not see much of a pay increase.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would advise management to closely review accuracy and efficiency of the workload completed by interns. I imagine most could be recruited rather than underwhelmed with only completing minimal work due to the fact that they would more than likely not be rewarded for it.
