    Pros

    St. Jude Fundraiser
    I liked my co-workers
Stayed up to date on latest fashion
    Flexible Schedule
Good pay for a first-time job...if you get hours that is
    The discount

    Cons

For starters, you aren't shown an ounce of gratitude or loyalty no matter how hard you work for the company. All credit goes to the upper management outside the stores.
They demand that you get at least one customer to sign up for their credit card - that 90% of customers don't want - every shift you work or you loose the very few hours you're given for the week.
The company doesn't give the store many payroll hours so there are few hours to give to everyone - 4-10 a week on average - and yet they keep hiring more people. There's not a lot of time to get everything done, which leaves a lot of it to managers who are overworked and overstressed as it is.
On-call shifts. You have to leave a whole day free just in case you have to work, which 3 times out of 10, you didn't.
You never knew next week's schedule until the Friday of the previous week
You receive very little training and are stuck figuring out a lot of things yourself as you go along.
The company has a high turnover rate because they based them of the sales of the same day last year, and you get in trouble if you can't meet them which is totally out of your control because you can't make people buy or sign up for things.
Customer can be very rude, and get really upset because of the ridiculous NY Deals that won't let them use their coupons and get mad at sales associates because we can't change the price.
Promotions change EVERYDAY. Not enough labor most of the time to keep up with it.
The same 20 pop songs from One Direction and various artists meant for 13 year old's over and over.
And overall even if you get your credit cards in, make top sells for the week, and come Christmas get the highest donations for the St. Jude Fundraiser, your reward is "Good job, you get paid this week." If you just don't get it all one day, you get berated about it in front of everyone.

    Advice to Management

Think about your employees who are representing your company in stores and not just in the executive offices! We often work harder than what we're getting paid for, and we're rarely shown any appreciation. Give the managers more hours to work the store with. And if anything, please, please, please just calm down about the credit cards. We're not convincing the customer to be a loyal shopper, we're annoying them to never come back, and you're stressing your employees out about it.

    Pros

I moved up very fast from a sales assoc. to assitaiant manager in about 6 months.

    Cons

I was only there about 9 months and we had 3 store managers, one who voiced how much she hated me and told other employees that they were in competition for my job. I aslo felt life my district manager had no faith in me being the ASM, but she only allowed me to move up becuase they couldnt hire anyone fast enough.

    Advice to Management

Value your employees and dont treat them like its their fault that no one is shopping.
